So those of you into Cassetteboy and craving more should probably check out the Roger Species new album on Wrong Music. It's called Bad Taste and that's for a very good reason as this is the wrongest thing I've heard in ages. Cut up news reports from radio and TV re-interpreted by wrong folk with mental brains. I will say it's completely fucking funny though... No stone is left unturned as it pretty much offends everyone. It's like Chris Morris on crack......Not for the faint hearted and it will make you laugh I guarantee. With song titles like 'Madonna Eats A Pork Pie & Dies', 'Tony's Cock', 'Sausage Pornography' and 'Jeremy Kyle's Necro Potato Hormones' it should give you an idea of what you're gonna get when you press play on the CD. We're pretty sure it may be Cassetteboy but we're not sure.... It's just too similar. Still it's well funny and we had to turn it of at work as we couldn't get anything done which is usually a good sign.

What their label says...

John Lennon changing his mind and instructing listeners to imagine "killing all the people". An ITV news reporter testing heroin at Alton Towers. Jeremy Kyle admitting he was once off seven months pregnant and mashed off his face, a premiere league football match turning into a gay orgy, and Judy Finnigan advising us that mistletoe and sperm is "quite high in the good colesterol". If that sounds like your kind of thing, then you'd better get Roger Species' new CD, "Bad Taste". Like a concentrated Cassetteboy crossed with Chris Morris when he was still funny, the 75 tracks on this album came from over 780 hours of material recorded between 1991 and 2007. Pillaging television news, audiobooks, pop music, celebrity quotes and local radio, Roger Species reworks their words into a horrific and hilarious look at the UK media. Examining the final product, genetics expert Prof Robert Winston advised customers: "It should only be taken in small doses. Pregnant women should consult their doctors before... oh wait, I'm reading the back of this Viagra. Sorry. Yeah, Roger Species, that's one fucking funny album. Go and buy it."
